Extra-Curricular Activities

Extra-curricular activities are offered to SS. Peter & Paul students to enrich and compliment their academic education. At the elementary school level, extracurricular programs are a learning experience; therefore, all students interested in a particular activity should be encouraged and given equal opportunity to fully participate. Students at SS. Peter & Paul are offered a wide variety of activities including a no cut sports program, band, drama club, academic competitions, Scouts, and more.

Music

Students in grade 4-8 are invited to participate in the SS. Peter & Paul Band Program. Music Education Services, Inc. offers lessons during the regular school day and after school. There is an additional charge for these lessons, which is billed directly to parents. Musical instruments can also be rented for a fee. All band students participate in concerts for the school and families, and can also choose to perform in the annual Solo and Ensemble Contest.

Drama

Drama Club is an extra-curricular activity for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.  Students are involved in all aspects of a play production, including set design, costuming, props, acting, and special effects. Students must be willing to learn and make a commitment to the team effort while having fun producing a play. The play is performed in the spring for the school. There is also an evening performance for the community. Academic/Sports eligibility rules apply.

Sports

Students have the opportunity to begin intramural sports in grade four and to participate in conference play in basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, cross country and track in grades 5-8. The Diocese requires that all student athletes have their own insurance in order to play; a sports physical must also be on file each year. Academic/Sports eligibility rules apply.
